Welcome to Lounsbury House! Our magnificent mansion on Main Street has been making memories for over 65 years. The house is beautifully maintained and is the perfect setting for your wedding, celebration, corporate meeting, or fundraiser.
Space
- Front porch – Bar and high-top tables work well. Oversized rockers are provided in season.
- Flowers – late May to October: a beautiful garden and fountain grace the front yard.
Flower baskets hang on the porch from Spring until Fall (weather permitting). - Crystal Room – Sitting area with a grand piano (Chickering) and gift table.
- Foyer – Serves as greeting area for cocktails, dance floor, and indoor ceremony space.
- Ballroom – Front portion 20’ x 32’-5” (648 SF); back portion 25’-10” x 18’-3” (471 SF)
- Dining Room – 19’-9” x 27’-11” (537 SF)
- Kitchen – Professional kitchen with Garland Range and industry grade appliances.
- Restrooms – First Floor: Ladies and Unisex Accessible; Second Floor: Rose Hall Accessible, Rose Suite and Clubroom.
- Second Floor – Gathering Hall, Conference Room (accommodates 18), Meeting Room (accommodates 10), Clubroom and Rose Suite
Notes
- Rental Fee (Weddings & First-floor Rentals) – Includes use of sixty (60) inch round banquet tables, champagne-colored Chiavari chairs for indoor use, white-colored resin garden chairs for outdoor use, bone-colored china, and flatware.
- Glassware & Linens – Not included. (You will work with your caterer for these items.)
- Rental Hours – Our standard rental period is for 9 consecutive hours (commonly 2:00 PM to 11 PM but may be shifted earlier). The rental period must include all set-up and breakdown time by your caterer (typically 2-3 hours for set-up and 1-1.5 hours for breakdown.)
- Seating – Create a customized seating plan with your caterer.
- Decorations – Five (5) mantels are located on the first floor.
- Deliveries – linens, liquor, décor, etc. may be delivered to our basement storage by noon one weekday prior to the event by appointment or delivered during your rental period and pick-up must be scheduled for the next normally scheduled business day.
